Speleologist
Having discovered speleology in high school in the 70s, I wanted to combine passion and work. I was able to focus my studies on geology and I specialized in the study of caves and groundwater. I created the CEK in 1992 with my associates we have intervened in many countries, including China, Turkey, Madagascar, Costa Rica, Guatemala, ...

Consultant
After my thesis, in parallel with my research work at the CEK, I began consulting activities in geology, geotechnics and hydrogeology in the Alpes Maritimes and the Var. The CEK was able to handle several fundamental research contracts on caves, seismic risk, underwater sources.

Researcher
I did my thesis in 1982-83 at the EDF geological department. My subject was on large underground rooms in order to research methods for digging large artificial cavities for the installation of underground nuclear power plants. Since then, I have maintained a continuous research activity within the CEK. I am the author of a dozen books and more than a hundred publications.

Diver
Having been diving since the 1980s, I have been able to carry out a lot of research at sea. At the CEK we have been able to explore and study the underwater sources in the south-east of France and to elucidate the origin and functioning of Port Miou in Cassis.

Professor
After regularly speaking at the university in the 1990s, teaching applied geology, I obtained a position as professor in the geography department of the University of Paris 8.

Forensic expertise
My professional experience has allowed me to be appointed on several occasions by the courts for judicial expertise. I also regularly act as counsel for the parties.
